Donations
Donations Accepted - Will Be Put to Good Use
NH Network for Environment, Energy, and Climate is an all-volunteer organization. We reside on Zoom and subsist on fumes. However, we do sometimes make use of money, and NH Healthy Climate has graciously agreed to be our fiscal sponsor.
How we put donations to use:
Paying a UNH student to create social media posts, reaching a younger demographic
Printing brochures, stickers, and postcards that increase our educational reach
Facility rental for in-person events (the food is always potluck!)
Funds Can Also Support Future goals:
Materials (and food!) for an event at UNH to bring students together with NH’s environmental organizations
Theatre rental (and food!) for an in-person movie event with discussion
Display material when we table at events
Continue funding a student liaison who can create social media posts and help with NH Network graphics
How To Donate? Write a Check to NH Healthy Climate!
To donate, write a check to NH Healthy Climate, our fiscal sponsor. In the memo line of the check (or check ledger if using a business check), indicate “for NH Network account.” This designation will ensure that your donation is correctly allocated to the NH Network for Environment, Energy, and Climate.
Mail your check to our fiscal agent.

Within 5 business days of receipt, NH Healthy Climate will send a letter thanking you, the donor. The letter will include the date, the amount received, and a notation at the bottom indicating that the donation is tax-deductible.
All donations will be tax deductible. Here is the standard IRS notice, which will be on each donation acknowledgment: NH Healthy Climate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contributions. Please retain this letter with your permanent tax records; this is your tax receipt. NH Healthy Climate does not typically send letters at the end of the year noting total annual donations; it is the responsibility of the donor(s) to keep track of thank you letters received to take the charitable deduction, if applicable.
Thank you for your generosity!
